Well, our little 2-person crew are making good progress! They've got the rafters shored up (they were sagging the middle - not a good thing, although we're thinking we could start a new home-style with rafter's called a "reverse eyebrow"). And, now they're working on walls! The bad news was that I don't get to pick paint like I thought. The contractor who's donating his time, was able to get 8 gallons of beige... oh goody. But, he did say that I can paint one wall in the living room another color, so that was my token I guess. Jeff says not to worry about it since there's no way 8 gallons will put the 3 coats (base & 2 paint coats) on all the walls, so we can use it as our base coat & then pick out what we want for the top coat on some of the walls. So, we'll see how that goes.
