Well, quiet day. We're all sleeping better so are happy with that. Bendigo is slightly frustrated as he can't find his school binder. So, he's getting further behind every day on certain subjects. But, otherwise, he's pretty happy. He does school in the a.m. & then helps around the ranch in the afternoon - usually chopping / filling wood boxes, cutting kindling, helping his dad w/ projects, etc. But, he never forgets to play his "daily pool game"... lol I'm afraid we may be raising a pool shark!
Btw - we've received several suggestions for Bendigo's blog, including Salmon River Ben (from Gordon), Ben Ho (from Ed), and approval of Backcountry Bendigo. However, we're waiting to hear what Steve says, although I'm a little afraid it'll be something like "Mucho Macho Middle Fork Muchacho"! (I crack myself up!!)
Jeff was quite pleased with himself today also - he fixed the pickup which has been broken down awhile awaiting a new fuel pump. He pulled it apart & cleaned all sorts of things & put it back together & it runs great! So, everyone is happy with that. AND... he cleaned a couple of dirty, nasty elk mounts today - honestly, I don't think they've EVER been cleaned... literally INCHES of grimy dust & gunk on them... ugh. They sure are looking better now!!
Nothing else much new. We did get snow for a bit today, but mostly rain. Good night!
